Eligibility Requirements

  • Louisiana community anchor institute such as a library, nonprofit, post secondary institution, municipality, public health agency, etc.
  • Serves a community where affordability is a barrier to broadband access.
  • Provides public access to devices for education, workforce development, health monitoring, and digital literacy.
  • Has capacity to manage devices and reporting, including maintaining an inventory for five years.
  • Offers or coordinates free digital skills and accessibility training for community members.

Designed to serve communities facing affordability barriers, residents with disabilities, older adults, and underserved rural and low-income groups.

Accessible laptops, desktops, public Wi-Fi equipment, and assistive technologies distributed to eligible organizations.

Open to qualifying community anchor institutions across all 64 Louisiana parishes.

Yes, organizations may reapply after 90 days if circumstances have changed. Please ensure you address any issues noted in your previous denial.
